Emma is an exceptional freelance journalist. She can do all the bread and butter that you expect – turning around copy quickly, get quotes immediately, to a very high standard. But she does far more than just this. She pitches stories when she is working on shifts, carries out investigations, and provides expert knowledge – and when she isn’t working for us, it is a noticeable difference. We really consider Emma to be part of the team, and a valuable one at that – which is something you can very rarely say about a freelancer.
